Alex Karpovsky 2012 Tribeca Films
As an actor, Alex currently plays the role of Ray Ploshansky in the HBO comedy series GIRLS and will appear as Marty Green in the upcoming Coen Brothers film, INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS. As a director and filmmaker, Alex has been dubbed by Fast Company as a "triple threat" and "the busiest writer-director-actor whose name you (probably) don't know," with a philosophy that lands him on elite lists such as panelist at Tribeca Film Festival's "New Filmmakers in the Digital Age"
Join us as we welcome Alex and close out the Festival with Unscripted New York’s celebration of improvised film!
"Trust Us...This is All Made Up" will screen with a selection of fully-improvised short videos, including an Unscripted New York Digital Short that will be created, cast, shot without a scripted, and edited, entirely during the festival.
